I had no intention of leaving the house this long weekend, but by some twist of fate my dad forgot his wallet so I had to go over to Makati (Manila’s business district) to meet up with him. After, we headed to the mall and he spots some cool bracelets in this charming little hobby shop called “dash”.

Being the curious cat that I am, I went around looking for for cute stuff which I won’t need in the first place and then I saw a lego-like nanoblock guitar. I was never a lego buff nor am I into puzzles but it sure looked awesome! What’s nice about it is, it’s so small you can carry it anywhere because of the convenient zip-lock bag in which it is packed in. The design is more detailed since the blocks are ultra small!

I bought it and started building the minute I got home!

Bass guitar challenge

It was kind of tough but I sure was determined to do this! It’s just so darn cute!!

60% done I guess

80% done, I think I did this pretty fast for my first try. Singing along to the White Stripe’s “Lord Send Me an Angel”, “Party of Special Things To Do” and “Hand Springs” inspired me a lot. I even watched “Fell In Love With A Girl” in between building. It was a “Building Block” Saturday night for me!

Done!! Even Jack White and Gary Oldman are stunned by this creation (yea right!) haha! It sure feels good to build something from scratch with your hands. I just placed the darling little thing against Jack’s photo from the American Express Unstaged: Inside Look. Of course this is a Bass guitar but hey, a guitar is a guitar right? ;)

Seriously though, this is for you Jack! Hope you likey! :)
